FTP with purplenova

FTP doesnt seem to work. I tried using the FTP built in the software, the authentication always fails. Tried disabling that and use guild ftp daemon. The requests doesnt get passed thru to the ftp server but is handled by the built-in ftp even after un-checking it.

Is there a workaround?

Hi Mohan,

You will need to allow FTP to your Purplenova (See under Settings ->FTP tab), and give all permissions, and choose a password. When you try to FTP from outside, you should type ftp:://yourpurplenovausername.purplenova.net and give the Username as <yourpurplenovausername> and the FTP password. You will then be able to access the FTP directory of Purplenova.
